Sanford plus Son
Here's what needs to happen: Television sitcoms need to return to the conventions of the "golden ages."
Take "Sanford & Son" as an example. It didn't matter how insignificant the character was... when they walked through the Sanford's front door, the audience roared in respectful applause. Now that only happens when Rue McClanahan guest stars on "Boy Meets World." You get my point.
